Making Tshirt Design

in art •  7 years ago  (edited)

My friend told me "If you draw me a cool design of your comic, I'll make it into a Tshirt". Couldn't miss that opportunity, could I?

Here's what I came up with...

And he DID turn it into a tshirt. How cool is that?

This friend of mine actually launched his own clothing business. So you can find this shirt in the Tblr online store. FYI they're almost sold out.

He offered me a few shirts so I gave them away two years ago. It was nice sharing with some of my lucky readers. I might do that again exclusively for Steemit if you're interested!

Here is the infamous trio wearing the shirts.

Thanks for reading through this clothing printing adventure. I'm sure they'll be plenty more as I find Tshirt design fascinating. I'll share with you any future ideas.

Beautiful stuff! That reminds me I've been sorely neglecting my shops, too... So many things to do, so little time.

Oh haven't checked your online store! You got an address? Also the link to your site on your Steemit profile seems unactive. I think it's missing the "www"

Thanks for noticing the wrong link, it was actually still having the "s" in "https", which is no longer part of my URL... That's one of the aftermaths of having to change hosting site.

As for my store, here it is: https://infectedbloodcomics.threadless.com/

great idea to create merchandise with your comic series.

Btw you mad quite some time ago a post about monappy and i just remembered this and made myself an accound and allready did my first post.:D But it was a pain to get a japanese email adress xD.

Hehe found you! Monappy is pretty cool. I got nice tips on there but it's less frequent since it's real money from people (Unlike Steem upvotes).

I have been posting my content in Pictures instead of MemoLog. Good thing about posting in Pictures is that it features thumbnail of your content on the home page.

I used my french address to register. I had no problem with that surprisingly...

Thats cool, i will also give this site a try. I think its good sharing artwork on more than one site. Thaks for the tip ;)

I also found ArtByte a site which supports artist trough crypto tips on twitter, facebook etc. But havent register yet.

Oooh don't know about this one. I'll definitely go check it out! Thanks! In my experience, I get the most tips for my art when I'm brand new to the site. Surprising, right?
