I have to make some commercial things in the next couple of month and some of them will be made in the 3d application Blender (later to be printed). So I have used today to get familiar with the new sculpt tools.
Sometimes you just have to take a break and learn the technology. I had a short introduction the other day by @evilhippie and with the development of modern software it is strangely intuitive tools that are invented. I suppose that even a person who had no computer skills at all would get the hang of this after a short while.
Not much to add apart from that, these are just me playing around to try to get the feel for it. Surprisingly easy and surprisingly hard.
Dynatopo in Blender is pretty good :) And looks like it's been improving since I used it.
Didn't quite understand, were you finding Blender hard or sculpting?

I haven't had any problems with Dynatopo yet. It feels pretty stable. As for the sculpting it is very intuitive and easy to get the feel of, but sculpting good is hard, not really Blender fault :)

A cool start, and I believe you that it may be easy to do, but myself, I am way too much distracted by the computer - I need to do more "unplugged" stuff, getting back to my basics.

I know the feeling. These last 5 years I have made all too much work on the computer. It is fast and when you show it on the screen it is made in the same media. But it lack coincidence and closeness.

Those look cool. I've not played with Blender much, but I see a lot of amazing work done with it. Another great example of open source

One of the most well working communities and a program that is being adopted by the industry these years without being in the pocket of Microsoft or some of the other large scoundrels.
