“My Japanese Style Cut Paper Art Collection Part 2“

I posted my Japanese style cut paper art collection before and am posting my Japanese style cut paper art collection part two today. I used some of the artwork for part one as well.

I love to create these Japanese ladies from their back angle because they look mysterious and beautiful. As you may know, there is a very famous art called “Beauty looking back” by Hishikawa Moronobu. His artwork is awesome. I just wanted to describe his artwork taste for my cut paper work.

前回は和風切り絵コレクションパート１を投稿しました。今回はパート２です。いくつかパート１と重なっているものもあります。

日本の女性を描く時は後ろ姿を描くことが多いです。後ろ姿は神秘的で美しいです。菱川師宣の有名な作品「見返り美人」はその代表的な作品です。どの作品も素晴らしいです。そんな見返り美人のテイストをちょっとだけ取り込んだ切り絵にしたかったのです。
