My sketchbook and Sakura Pigma Micron, which i often use for drawings.
This liners have archival ink, are waterproof and light fast - which is most important for drawings with ink or pen, I think.

Makes me want to grab a pen ... :-)

:-)

I had to draw with those micron pens when I participated in the Antipodes Project (because that's what everyone used on those coop panels), but I never really liked them. They are too technical, more for drafting. I still like my old-fashioned dip pens better, or else a good ballpoint like Michael Fuchs uses. With the dip pens, you can use different types of ink - of course light-fast; as well as different nibs. Lots of good brands out there, and cheaper in the long run: a bottle will last almost forever - one of those Micron pens was over and done with after drawing 2 panels.

I also like to draw more with ballpoint, but sometimes i need this fine liner.

Peter put me on to some acrylic pens - I checked them out at Boesner, it's a new brand. Works good, I use a fine tip white one for highlights in my paintings. Forgot the name of it, have to look in my studio.

What is the brand of the acrylic pens? I'm curious.

yes, I will have to check that at my studio. I have one pen from Amsterdam, but the other brand is the one I prefer, because it comes with different tips, from fine to broad. I let you know later when I get back.

the one I use is Uni Posca - they are new at Boesner. That's the one.
but the on-line catalog has the replacement tips, not the pens! Somebody at Boesner screwed up! I got them in the store, there are lots of different colors.
Find them on-line at Gerstäcker: https://www.gerstaecker.at/Marken/uni-POSCA/uni-POSCA-Marker/ -
this is the one I use, for fine lines (in my case, white is all I need, but I am thinking maybe other colors, for contures):

Ja, ich hab die auch seit 3-4 jahren schon. Es ist besser leere stifte zu nehmen (da kannst du auch die spitzen separat kaufen), aber die andere sind auch nicht schlecht.

hab ich auch, aber das Nachfüllen ist fast unmöglich - will mit Golden Liquid füllen, aber die Spitze der Flasche ist zu dick. Jetzt verwende ich eine Injektionsnadel zum füllen. Zu mühsam. Ist aber nicht aerocolor liner, kannte ich nicht. Hab was anderes.

Die leeren von Schmincke füllt man mit airbrush acrylic oder tusche.

I love this. I have used these pens and still do. I like them for fine lines and really if given enough pressure you can get good gradiated lines with them.

There is something always so enticing about black and white.

Thank you! :)
