Sunday Portraits - Lee Camp

in art •  6 years ago

For this weeks sunday portraits, i am posting an image of comedian, activist and TV host , Lee Camp. I have long followed the work of Lee, and have seen how much he has grown and matured over time. Not only is he doing a job he loves (i think!) but you can tell he puts SO much into whatever he puts out. Be it a tv show, a live show or books. I think he is a bit of a workaholic, to be honest. But he would probably never admit to that. I love his wit and humour, and his knack of being able to find some kind of funny in almost any topic. And with his tv show – Redacted Tonight – he has been able to get his “message” out to even more people. One of hope. One that says you too can do something about the bad stuff in the world. And he does talk about topics that hardly any other news outlets are talking about. Another knack he has.

I can also say too, that he has been a mentor to me. His advice and encouragement has helped me in making my art work my total passion. So to him i say – thank you. Much love and respect.
