Geometric Inspiration from the Alhambra - Granada, Spain

With all the amazing craft and perfected form in place, it's always charming to see the tiny irregularities in the work..the human hand is evident in the slight differences in each geometrical iteration.

Some of these patterns have ended up finding their way into some of our paintings. Rather than project the photograph of the image, we take the time to figure out how the geometry was constructed, deducing the hidden points of interest.
