I have quite a few hobbies, some specifically in art. I play in photography, drawing, wood burning and pen work. When I use pens, I also have a variety of styles I work with. I do line art, sketching, and stippling.
Here is one of my stippling pieces I did with a calligraphy pen & ink.
Stippling, also known as pointillism(Tamato/tomato), usually depends on what you heard first, but is all the same thing. In essence, you compose a piece with a bunch of dots. For example, one of the most famous artist using this form of art is Georges Seurat. I was first introduced to him in elementary school, my teacher was showing us his work and explaining to us who he was and what he did. I was mystified by his work and patients needed to complete it. This is one of his more famous pieces
"Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte"
I still have a long way to go to be anything like Georges Seurat, but I do love my hobby and hope to be able to sell pieces one day. Stay tuned for more work being posted!
