Hello guys, I decided to choose some different technique today. It´s been a long time since I drew with color pencils. They were lying in a drawer for a long time, so I wanted to try to draw something with them.

Since I was a child I loved butterflies. Amazing small creatures, so soft and fragile. They seemed to me like flying jewels with all those bright colors. I made lots of artworks with butterflies because it brings me some kind of joy and mystery in one. It is a symbol of transformation and change according to its compliated life cycle.

I used Maped pencils for this drawings. They are bright, soft and not very expensive, so I can recommend them to beginners.I also tried to draw one butterfly by using another type of pencils and you can see the difference and the importance of quality tools if you want nice results.

This small drawings and paintings are more like a training, so I usualy put them into my art journal...
