I generally work 4 ten hours days at my slave labor job, Monday through Thursday. So my weekend starts today. I hope you didn't miss me too much since last week. I do try to make small posts during the week so you don't forget about me. Though I fell out a little in that regard this week.
Speaking of missing: Has anyone seen @sirlunchalot? I do hope nothing has happened to him. If you know him IRL please let him know that he has been missed. If you have any information about his status please let me know in the comments below.
I have been working out my story "Agara". I have the the plot roughed out. Identified the movements in the first few scenes. That made me confident enough to begin thumbnailing the actions in the first scene. I have done some character studies.
I received my first set of copic markers Wednesday night, and stayed up late playing with them. They blend so nicely. Why did I wait so long? Oh, yeah! They are massively expensive. These markers are so intuitive, I feel like I'm really progressing quickly in my proficiency with them.
The setting of my story is a police state. So I've been designing police for this story. It's set in the future, so I want something somewhere between Judge Dred and Fifth Element with regards to the uniform the police are wearing. I did the study below with my new copic markers?
This is not close to a final design, and still I thought it would be fun to share it with you. If you do have thoughts on the design of police in a future police state, or have some tips for using copic markers.
If there is any interest I will show a character study I did for the guy in the first scene.
