Mortal Kombat MoneyArt... (FINISH HIM!!!)

I drew this yesterday, a new moneyart piece I am calling, 'FINISH HIM!' It is part of an ongoing art project designed to show the inherent worthlessness of all FIAT currency systems, leaving room for crypto to catch up and surpass the bankster wanksters... Technically it is illegal, so I have to say DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME... But I will always imply you take it to the streets, get your voice heard... I will mail you a sharpie, for art's sake! So yeah, the misdemeanor of defacing paper money has never been prosecuted...

This project is about to expand into art shows and contests! I can't say exactly what it will look or smell like yet, but proposals are being written... Maybe we'll have a real budget!! That is already saying too much, but only 10 or 12 people seem to read this blog anyway...

Who played Mortal Kombat as a youth? It got a little too graphic for me in the past 20 years, but I remember the spine-ripping days of the late 1990s... "EXCELLENT..." I enjoyed several characters, since my older brother owned the game system, and was therefore way better at it than me... This provided me a chance to watch all my characters die in horribly painful ways... Oh my...

In 2002-2003 I went to China to teach ESL at a private school... It was eye-opening and a whole mess of stories to share, but I mention it because that was where I saw the bamboo hats for the first time... In fact, in China it is such a peasant hat that the rich folks I worked for frowned upon my wearing one... But suddenly Rayden could be a real person!

You may have noticed that this bill is very small... It is the size of monopoly money or a long business card... Either that or my hands are REALLY big... LOL... As soon as I saw the currency I knew it should be a tribute to Mortal Kombat... I got the bills in an Amazon grab bag of 25 bills from all over the world... Indonesia doesn't use these bills now... The date on it says 1964...

I like positive affirmations, so I went with the most basic game affirmation... YOU WIN!! and I already have plans to do a version 2.0 of this with a different laffirmation... The reference pic I was looking at had a dark shadow over his eyes, which caused me to draw the mask too low... DERP... Looks a bit like Space Ghost Coast To Coast, hahah...
