SKETCHY SUNDAY #4 - DC Villainess Brainstorm

Hey again art fans!

I can't remember the last time I found the time/felt the inspiration to draw several times in the same week. Which is sad, considering how many hours of my youth were spent with a pencil in my hand. BUT it seems hanging out in the steemit-verse (as well as some rearranging of priorities) has helped awaken a new muse in me! So THANK YOU! This community is seriously amazing.

One of my favorite steemit creative-types, @kommienezuspadt, has started a comic art contest, with a different theme every week. (Check out the winners from last week's "Trial by Comics", and the new theme announcement for this week here.)And, while the last few weeks have been a total gong show around here, things are starting to fall into a new version of normal, and I am SO looking forward to entering this week!!! Comics are kinda right up my alley. :)

So the theme for this week is "Super-villains" and my brain can hardly seem to settle on one idea for more than 2 seconds. But I do love to draw sassy ladies... so today's brainstorming session produced a few of my favorite DC villainesses, striking some dynamic poses.

Again, just a few tiny little sketches to jot my ideas down, not my actual entry. That'll be coming later in the week, when I actually figure out which direction I'm going in AND get time to put it together! Wish me luck! lol
