Autumn gardening
I've been outside in the garden today tidying up the fading summer plants and vegetables. With my warmest jumper and wellington boots on I braved the autumn weather to cut down the dead flowers and dying leaves, I picked the last of the tomatoes and sweet peas too.
The garden is starting to look a little bare and lacking in colour. I packed away my gardening tools and went inside to the warmth where I made a brew and drew this picture. I used lots of bright colours as I dreamed of sunnier days and a garden of springtime flowers!

Absolutely beautiful @opheliafu . I went to see my Mum today, who’s recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. My Nephew and Dad were trimming the buses and shrubs on probably one of the last fare days of the year, here in Manchester, UK.

I am fond of winter- which is fortunate living in the UK! But a bit more colour would be lovely. I have stunning red and orange berries on some of my trees and bushes, I planted them for the enjoyment of the birds in winter.

Good in Venezuela the winter is rain and rain that luck you have that in your country is joy and color ... in my house I have roses but they do not give me and in the end Die :(

The Mountain Ash or Rowan (I think?) gives colour into the winter with its red berries in clumps and clusters.
Also, Sea-Buckthorn has clumps of orange berries at this time of year. Vibrant colours and food for the birds too. If I find any seedlings from any of my trees, I'll bring them to you next time we visit ❤️
