Falling

This is a quick doodle I created whilst I sat outside in the sunshine. To start this drawing I placed a small orange sticker on the page. I then drew the figure and the tree, the sticker became an orange falling to the ground. It's fun to start with something as simple as a coloured dot on the page, and then see what is can turn into with a few pen lines.

I drew the image using my black posca paint pen. I then used watercolours to add the leaves on the tree and ground beneath the figures feet.

It's cool in its simplicity. Very nice. I like that you used different mediums as well

I wasn't sure if using the watercolours would take away focus from the simplicity of the orange dot, but I kept the leaves closer to the orange circle lighter so they wouldn't take away focus.

I really like the character and austerity of the piece. It's like visual haiku.

This could be a series

Coloured dots I have

I envision that simple character to be wandering in a world, lonely, because everyone is distracted.

... sorry what was that you were saying?

I was looking at my phone.
