I dug again in my archive today (thousands of drawings, paintings, papers, stuff...) and found some artworks I did, well, at least 15 years ago. Some of them are funny and fairy drawings. So I retouched some of them and did some more drawings and watercolors like those old ones.
I found also some old retouched photocopies, and I tried to paint more on them (tempera and watercolors).
Wise masters in Art usually say you shouldn't retouch old and finished artworks.
But, let's be honest: who cares? :D

I love the surreal nature of this one. It speaks of nature, of life, of mysteries, of death. I also love the way the orange faces juxtapose the black tree and the way the tree stands in the middle like a tether holding everything together.
