So the coolest and most well scripted character driven drama of the 80s (which was actually created in the 2010s) came to an end last week. Rarely ever have I seen such a genius and genuine use of a piece of music blended with beautifully edited footage and surprising conclusions to some of the most developed story archs. When Bono goes into his highsaround the 3 minute mark I challenge anyone not to shed a little tear for Phillip and Elisabeth if you've followed their characters for the past 6 years.
If you enjoyed the coolest TV finale ever as much as I did then relive that epic ending with me now and lose yourself in one of U2's finest: 1987 'With or Without you' which was used to maximum effect in last week's final episode of 'The Americans'. I suggest some good headphones.
Voted to be one of the 100 best songs of all time - justifiably so I would say. This is a Vynil rip, high quality - all rights owned by Island Records.
Thanks to all involved in making this show - it is one for the books. Welcome to the New World!
