Snake on Hand

Wow! I was always fascinated by snakes. Unfortunately, where I live we don't have many of them and the few we have are really scared by man, so it's difficult to observe them.

I agree, they are fascinating! I have a friend @snake73 who owns all these fine specimens - he is actually a snake-show entertainer. He sometimes brings these great creatures over when we have events @gardenofeden, and I'm glad to have the opportunity to interact with them up close and personal. I have seen a few snakes in the wild, but I (mostly) do not handle the wild ones or even get very close.

Not only are they amazing animals, but I think it's so interesting how snakes are significant characters in creation stories for so many cultures across the world.

Oh, you opened an entire new world, talking about creation myths! I often wondered why snakes where always SO represented in mostly every myth I know. Being they good or evil they sure were interesting for our ancestors!
