New Painting! Candy Dream - 8x10" Acrylic on canvas.

I made a few of these acrylic pours a while back. Eager to do some more, because they're really fun, but they really do require a lot of materials.

The popping colours in this one made me think of candy, as you can see, so that's what I added in. I decided ultimately after posting the other day that all this piece really needed were a couple more small candies, so I went with jellybeans. They aren't detail-heavy, so they don't take your eyes away from the fun patterns that pouring paint formed.

I've got another couple paintings on the go, now, but there's another one I'd like to start today - I just have to pick a scene for it. I just read this morning that cats sell in galleries better than most other subjects, so I want to be a smart-ass and test it. I just need to find or build a good scene. I'm thinking dandy or opium den or something from the era of top hats and canes.
