I did this painting in 2002, when Aceh was run "Military Emergency" by the Government of Indonesia. the consequences of Aceh's "Emergency Military" suffered damage to the social, economic, humanitarian and even arts fields were also affected by the war.

My profession as a painter has difficulties, the space becomes narrow, because I help my friends involved the Aceh Liberation Movement that was attacked by the Indonesian Military. I just think how my friends should survive and have to meet their needs in the forest, because they are Guerrilla.

One day I went back to my house ... I took my painting equipment ... I wanted to describe my feelings at the time.
