Gate stone sculpture / Tor Steinskulptur (art by @schamangerbert)

in art •  7 years ago

About 25 years ago, I carved this sculpture out of red sandstone. I was inspired by the archaic monumental buildings I had visited in England, Wales and Scotland shortly before. The stone is embedded about 25 cm into the soil and stands in my garden. Height 2.69 feet from the ground.

thats mean you have been take care about this stone for last 25 years.

Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.

@schamangerbert,You did it beautifully with the the common observer of life and nature.

the sculpture is very original in the garden

This is amazing sir thanks a lot for sharing have a great day.

great work captain ,love the sculpture , it looks like a big "tirador"we call it, like a weapon or toy that same shape then you gotta attached a elastic thingy or rubber, then put stone or anything hard on the rubber and there you can hit something by it 😊
