I'm working on taking more process shots. But hey, what can you do? I get absorbed and forget to take 5000 photos... so it goes (as captain Vonnegut would say). Sometimes I do time lapse videos of painting and drawing, but I am way too technologically inept to upload them on steeeeemit... so I don't (I will work on that too). Now that I think of it, I should probably make an extremely laborious slo-mo video of me drawing just to see if anyone would watch the whole thing.... too far?
Anyway, you Lucky little chucky, I have the original sketch I did.
And the image engraved in copper.!.!.!.
Much to your chagrin, here is the print, proofed and ready to be the subject of my unmitigated loathing.
Does the process of intaglio printmaking confuse you? Me too. Sometimes. But I can try to explain it if you want. Otherwise, ya know, if you're having some feelings, leave a little note. Comment...
Lastly and more importantly. I am bewildered by the minnow whale dynamic which is happening here. I don't identify as either. I'm more of a sturgeon. Can I be a sturgeon? Is that okay?
