Artwork of the Day #35 - Series of Selfportraits

Todays artwork is a series of selfportraits that show how I dealt with myself in an artistic process.


The first image was a selfportrait with my saxophone using an old analog camera in the attic of my parents house when I was about 17 years old:

A few weeks later I had a summer job, where I was able to use a photocopier for free. So I experimented with different copy-settings:

Then I did a drawing of that image turning me into clown on a paper with grease spots:

Finally here is a different approach: I cut out another picture from the photocopier-series and made a collage with a hand-drawn background:
