A beautiful artistic corner in my city!

Yesterday there was the opening of a new piece of street art in my city, but it was too hot and so I couldn't go there for the opening. This morning was fresh enough to watch the new piece added on this corner in the cernter of my city (Pistoia, Italy) and so I took some pics to share with you!

At first, you ave to know this piece of urban art is just a part of a project that our municipality started a couple of years ago to give a new, artistic life to a small square that was abandoned for a long time. The name of the square is "Piazza Sant'Atto", but now is also known an the Garden of Cino (Cino was one of the main character of the ancient history of the city). Artists from other cities gave there contributions to the projects with some beautiful artworks painted on the walls and in the last week, another group of artists painted the aspalt on the ground using the style of the ancient buildings here in the city!

This work was done in about a week and the municipality invited the city to watch the young artists who were working there and people appreciated so much this initiative, also because in the past this small square was really horrible and nobody wanted to live there. Now it's a sort of artistic tiny area and it's beautiful to visit.
