I think drawing in this manner (a random drawing that is not meant to be perfect or even good) helps calm the mind.

Calming cos of the background yeah, but eerie overall because it looks like a guy hanging himself, at least from my perspective :D

I meant that the process of drawing is calming, even when the result is not.
Interesting, because I didn't intend to convey that eerie feeling, but generally I like that feeling in my drawings and photos. Interesting how you like, affects your photos and drawings...
