Working on a digital painting- Portrait of a pirate, things that i have learned

Normally i draw with pencil on paper. but after i found out that you can make amazing paintings without actual color and those particular kind of art paper, using your pc and an amazing software of adobe, i was really excited.

so i watched so many youtube tutorials on how to make digital paintings on photoshop. but when i tried to do it myself, i figured that those youtubers were right. its freaking impossible to draw with a mouse. so i had to get a drawing tablet.
Luckily for me, after a few days sbd price went really high.

So i made some quick money and then i was able to afford a drawing tablet( it wouldn't have been possible without the uprising of sbd price).

But still, i paid double than the actual price of the tablet because they are not that available in our country.

After i got the tablet, i realized that it was worth it.

Even though the tablet is super small, i loved it.....

Then i drew some more. And for a few days i was having problem controlling the tablet. but in time, i figured it out.
last week i shared one of the paintings, that was kind of bad because i didn't put enough time on that, also there were so many things i didn't know how to do.

Well, i am still practicing and now i think that i am better than i was before.
I am going to share two of the screenshots of the portrait that i am working on now.
In my last post i said that its a lot harder than i thought, well, i was wrong. its actually kind of easy and fun.
its definitely better than drawing on paper with pencil.

Currently i am working on the face. I think the lip looks really good. tried to make the eyes realistic but it needs more work done. what do you think?
when i get more time i will try to finish this one.
when i finish the portrait i would love to share the actual image.
