My Pear Harvest Inspiration - Photo manipulation and digital drawing with process video 🍐🍐🍐steemCreated with Sketch.

I always look forward to when our pears are ripe each year. Usually we have up to 300 pounds or so but this year we will be lucky to get 30 or 40 pounds. I make pear chutney and crisps and eat them on salad, and we always have plenty to share. We had a late frost after the trees had bloomed this year so they didn't make much fruit

Pears have such a sensuous shape that they usually inspire some art too. Here is a photo which I altered in my Prisma iPad app.

Here is what it looks like in the app.

Then I altered this little vintage guy in my Procreate app. Even though this child has on a dress, I'm pretty sure it is a boy because, until children were potty trained it was common to keep them in dresses for ease of changing diapers...at least in the south it was.

Here is a short video of the process.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
