Pakistan and india have a rich history in urdu literature...the indian subcontinent has produced one of the best literature's any liguistic region ould produce. We have poets, story writers, literature philosphers, romantic novelists....thriller story writers.....in short we are rich in every aspect related to literature......ibn e safi a house hold name for the past 50 + years wrote thriller and spy novels which were one of their kind......Ghalib, Hali ,mir tuqi meer, mir dard, iqbal , fiaz, faraz, firaq, ada, hali, akbar alahbadi and the likes of these have produced best poetry , with iqbal also being the best philoshper of subcontinent......In the field of novels and literature likes of bano qudsia,intezar hussain abdullah hussain, nasim hijazi, atish, prem chand and others have captivated the readers with their amazing literature...mustansir hussain tarar stands tall in all the travel logging literature..and even today we are rich in literature production......
