DOODLES !

Met up with my best friend today!! We hadn't seen eachother in a long time. I always enjoy hanging out with her- regardless of what we end up doing during the day. :)

These are some doodles I made while we were having some coffee, the first picture is all of my doodles and the second one is similar but she has written a phrase in Latin that she really liked.

We were messing around thinking about tattoo designs that we'd really like to get done one day. I initially thought of something with a sword or a blade and some flowers, that gradually developed into something with a spine and some leaves, I'd LOVE to develop this doodle more and experiment with different plants on the spine.

I chose a spine because I have a health condition called Spina Bifida Occulta, I've never come to terms/ been at peace with the fact that I have it, and will always have it, so I feel like if I slowly include more things that relate to it into my drawings that I mean gain some peace from that. Not sure if that makes sense, I am a little sleepy while writing this, haha.

I have always liked lavender, which is the second drawing made with a black biro, I've always found the smell very calming and I appreciate being calm. One of my favourite things that used to crop up at random points in my childhood were those little lavender bags that friends or family (my mum) would gift me, so seeing/smelling lavender makes me quite happy. :)

The "ok" in the Old English font is something I quite like, but really want to develop and refine. I like the word "ok" a lot because I feel like that is a nice emotion to feel. Not entirely brilliant but not horrifically bad. Very neutral. Not really sure what else to say/how to phrase anything for this. :P

I enjoyed today a lot, it was really nice to see my best friend again!

Thanks for stopping by!
