Tokyo Sticker Bombing.

Tokyo Japan, Sticker Bombs Everywhere.

In Tokyo, people often follow the rules, the younger crowd walking in their parents footsteps, no talking on the train or being late to work. There are a few exceptions however, sticker based graffiti being one of them and the act of sticker bombing is becoming increasingly popular among the artistic vandals of the city.

It is quite common to see new graffiti pop up around the city, especially on the east side of the city. Shibuya and Harajuku are big hotspots for sticker bombing because these areas attract so many people through things like popular fashion and a bustling nightlife. It's not uncommon to find sticker bombs in the strangest, hard to reach places.

While graffiti is often removed, the stickers are hard to get rid of because there are just so many. Because removal is so uncommon in Shibuya it is also a great place to view graffiti by famous artists such as Neckface or Invader who have pieces in the open street.

Often you see stickers that are politically motivated as well. Due to public tension surrounding Prime Minister Abe's stance on Japan's military.

If you are Interested in Street Art, Tokyo is a great place to visit and shoot photos. You'll find things hidden in the most obscure places. It's Definitely worth checking out, but if you cannot come to Japan any time soon and are interested in the art culture here a few good places to start
