At the moment I sell t-shirt designs on these platforms

https://www.teepublic.com/user/toonpunk -
good US platform where you can upload you own designs onto T-shirts and other merchandise... they will print and send out products. they create some promotions and traffic, paid in $ to paypal monthly... min $2 per T-shirt

https://cloudcity7.com/collections/toonpunk (fanart only)
good UK platform where you can email your own designs and they will upload to the site, for printing onto T-shirts and other merchandise... they will sell, print and send out products. they create some promotions and traffic, they pay in £ to paypal monthly... min £2 per T-shirt... they will also sell your designs on amazon which generates a lot of sales without any promotion.

another useful US platform, very much the same as teepublic, not quite as slick, they sell a lot of stickers without me having to send them traffic which isn't a huge revenue but every little helps

This is a really nice platform, you get paid min $3 per t-shirt and the quality of the shirts is very high. They generate their own traffic and do regular promotions, no copyrighted designs allowed, they also allow you to do wholesale deals with stores although I haven't had this offered to me as of yet.

https://toonpunk.teemill.co.uk/
organic and ethical T-shirts from teemill in the UK. new platform that has limitations but if you want to go down the organic ethical route then this is for you. they create amazing photographic assets for your design (a bit better than the tees themselves) which is useful for sharing on social media

society6 I haven't really done too much work on, It seems to have a wider range of merch including more household items so if you make decorative art for the house then this is probably a good place to start

I'm also on zazzle but I set it up years ago and haven't paid it much time in recent years... what do artists think about this platform, is it worth putting the time in

I am aware of Busted tees and Tee Fury but haven't signed up myself, would love to hear if anybody has and what those platforms are like

I would also like to know about more platforms similar these and your experiences with them... please comment

Hmmm interesting.. I'll have to look into some of these.

Which one would you suggest for European users?

for a designer or customer

For a designer. Sorry I should have been more specific! :)

Zazzle or Spreadshirt might be your best bet.

I'm on several of the PODs you listed above, including Zazzle, which is the one I've been using the longest (about ten years).

In the beginning Zazzle was great and I made sales regularly. However, as the marketplace became more saturated, Zazzle introduced new measures to their advantage, making it harder for smaller designers to get noticed.

  1. Zazzle has always allowed creators to set their own royalty however if you set your royalty above 14.9 %, your product will not show up in the marketplace. This means if you want potential customers to see it, you'll have to promote it on your own site, social media, etc.

  2. Zazzle introduced something called Zrank which is a grade of 1 to 10 you receive on your Zazzle store (10 being the best). The more you keep your store updated, the better your score will be. Stores with high scores do better. This is easier said than done. Products with similar titles and tags, lower your score. It is the worst thing they've implemented, in my opinion. You are constantly chasing your tail, especially if you have more than one store.

  3. Zazzle will hide products in your store if it is not selling or hasn't been viewed in a while. You can fix this by freshening up the products description or tags which will make it visible again. This is just one more thing that creates more work for you than its worth.

All of this has meant dwindling sales for me which is why I've opened stores at other POD sites. most recently at TeePublic.

I checked out last night the 2 you told me about- society 6 and design humans.

good for you?

I think it's a possibility. Yes.

What's the best platform for shipping T-shirts outside of the US or international shipping?
