Original Illustration: Pastel Noir

~ Made on Photoshop CC 2017, with love ~

This was my first Aesthetic Illustration and I remember looking at so many things to get inspired and be able to get the retro feeling right. I knew I loved this Artstyle but I was so afraid of not being able to replicate it.

After much experimenting and creating my own assets I managed to make this with the least amount of downloaded assets. Only the lightning effect and clouds remained as something I did not know how to do myself and and I was lucky to find a brush artist nice enough to let me use it.

As usual, I used public domain NASA pictures for the background for the star texture and I made the custom grid, shapes and color treatment with much patience and imagination.

I remember being so proud of my finished work I actually told myself I could do this now that I knew I was capable.
