If the intellectual is doomed to a life of hermitude, then I'm hobo Jim. It seems my life has been absorbed by so many different aspects of development. Most of which revolve around relationship building in a number of ways.
Art community, pow wow community, my adopted family, and new inspiring ways of what may turn out to be a way of creating multiple channels of employment. All coinciding with one another. All stemming back to the same source. My cerebral cortex. Go figure!
After visiting my adopted niece and finding out she is officially pregnant with her ex who vehemently denies it being his child, I turned to to hospital to grt an application for a new job. It seems the reality of my telemarketing job going to computerized auto dialer is becoming all too much of a reality more and more with each day. So, I went in search of new work.
As serendipity woukd have it, I ran into a coworker who just started working there. I was telling her about my art partnership that's kicking up, and one of the guys there says. Hey! Why don't you come and make a program like this for the people in the hospital?! Like holy geez! No good reason not to. So, tomorrow afternoon I'm headed down to talk with the hr manager about the possibility, while I apply for a job in and amongst the hospital in the meanwhile. What a stroke of genius!
Other than that, our funding is still coming along for our community program, a friend of mine is donating us some lightweight tables from one of the community groups we are partnering with, and apparently we are having a potluck before or after the santa clauss parade on Saturday. So, it'll be a day of art, food, and Santa clauss parading! Yay!
