Yesterday I had some hours for myself so I decided to get creative and paint a bird on the bathroom wall. The decition was not easy for there are so many beautiful birds out there. The format of the wall gave me the first clue. It had to be a brid that is standing tall while not being to fat.
@sature and me were considering different birds when I finally had the idea. The shoebill! It was about 2 or 3 years ago when I first heard about the shoebill. I have propably seen it in zoos before but I could not remember him. Therefore the shoebill represents the unexpected surprises that life provides every day. On this mobile phone photographs I will show you the process of painting. Here is the first step. The drawing.
With painting the first linaments the funny expression already comes to life a bit.
The beak now gives an idea of the mischievous thoughts of the shoebill.
Maybe he is a little pervert waiting to watch you dropping your pants?
Lets do the same to him!
Uh, wow! He has got some loveely boots <3 I hope you like this painting. This is the only way I could get the whole work on one picture because the bathroom is so tiny. Now I have to figure out what he is standing on... Any suggestions?

@yoganarchista, I want to say that, this art really went up lively and literally it's reflecting as it holds the life.
And in my opinion, for this kind of art, we have to combine everything means, the coordination between the, Hand, Imagination, Memory and soul for sure.
And the great aspect is, you've added fun effect in this and in my opinion that can make anyone laugh for sure.

Jetzt schaff ichs auch mal hier zu kommentieren, denn den find ich wirklich sehr nice und würd ihn als ein definitives Upgrade bezeichnen :)!
Habt ihr mittlerweile einen "Untergrund" gefunden? Dachte erst an ein Brett, dass man evtl. wie ein Schränkchen (z.B.) anmalt und darunter schraubt/klebt oä, aber die Position seiner Gummistiefel machens da ein wenig schwer :D

I think I have seen a glimpse of it in the blog of @paolobeneforti some time ago. I am shure it will look great. I am dreaming of making a mosaic bathroom myself one day. Me and @sature just decided to stay in Berlin for one more year so it makes sence to create a nice place. But it makes no sence to do a mosaic there for we would have to remove it when we move out.... Paintings can always be overpainted, but maybe the next renter will like it as well ;)
