Felt Animals: a needle felt French Bulldog looking for a new home!

What is Needlefelting? Needlefelting is interlocking wool fibers by using a barbed needle. Stubbing wool by the needle to entangle and condense the wool to create a form. It takes a time to sculpt a shape. Needlefelt hasn't had a long history as far as I know since late 20 century. There are not so much tradition to learn from. I have studied this needlefelt techniques by online and taught myself by own experiences. It is a time consuming work. On the other hand, it is a free form of creation and possibility will be endless. Like any sculptures, research and study a subject and make it complete.

There are some favorite aspects for the needle felting sculpture. First, it is hard to duplicate: One of a kind. These days many art and craft can be done by computers and machines. However, I believe that this sculptures cannot be done by machines for a while. Second, the materials are Eco and Animal friendly. It is not a cheep materials, but free from guilty that any harm of animals and environmentally friendly. Last but not least, it is nice to touch and to handle furs.

To be honest, I've been spending buying materials, and practice making these. I need to sell some of my work to buy more wool so that I could keep on going.

My plan is that I'd like to make more of French Bulldog for now and expand to the other animals in the future.
