To me Halloween just isn't Halloween without the lovey and talented Elvira Mistress of the Dark.
I have a certain affection for this character. She is one of those bigger than life personalities that proved more than capable of making a very profound impact in my young and impressionable mind. So much so - that to this very day - I have a very soft spot for the Gothic aesthetic.

Yep, Elvira is awesome and your pictures do her justice! I remember being fond of her many many years ago, was there ever a computer game featuring her? I think I remember playing it on a very old PC!

Thank you! I've been working almost exclusively in black and white for the last 3 years (except for the occasional comicbook cover...) I think it's a kind of minimalist response to the sheer volume of bombastic visual media available out there in the world. I just want to calm down and do some line-work...
