hahaha Weirdo!

Can I just say that the incident with your dad on the cruise ship is so hilarious, I could imagine the look on the faces of other participants.

Now on the topic of Artificial Stupidity, we know that human beings like to invent something even if the idea seems 'stupid'. There would be people who go along with the idea. That is just how we are.

As for the people who fired you from Hallmark, they were intimidated. You solved a problem that existed for ten years!!!!!! they fired you to hide their incompetent selves.

yeah, it's true. I have a tendency to shake up things.......in bad environments.

Yes you do! that's why we love you!

Hmm Artificial Stupidity haha, I am actively studying for a masters in the artificial intelligence field and never came across that word but I do understand the explanation and it's application. It's all about making machines as human like as possible, like you rightly hinted ,a large percentage of human beings are not perfectly intelligent. There are some elements of stupidity in everyone haha, so it makes sense to try and teach a machine to do that as well.

Good post and really helpful and I love this kind of posts

Thank God you loved it and it was helpful for you, objective of this post fulfilled!

Yes my friend work for a good goal and it is to do what others benefit thank you all the time

Nice post you got here.

I believe that humans derive most of their pleasure in life from idiotic moments. We like to think we are logical, but that is rarely the case.

The human mind is programmed for fun in the sense that one can go to any length to get that which gives them joy and happiness.. And sometimes when they too that extra length, they enter into the level of stupidity but it's fun to them..

And this

the deliberate limitation of computer AIs in video games in order to control the game's difficulty.

Got me wondering why

Thanks for sharing this about AS. Just hearing about it from your post. I'll go look it up on Google to know more about it.

thanks, I am writing in a stream of consciousness style, after getting barely any sleep....

Indeed "artificial stupidity" is indeed a "Wierd" term. and your analysis have proved to be true. It is actually the wierdness behind the term "artificial stupidity" that made me go through the post. I love the part about the fact that mastery and dedication is what makes our art sublime.. kudos.

I love the idea of meaning being born from rediculousness! Some of my best ideas have come from fits of stupid laughter in response to a stressful situation!

yes this is exactly what i am talking about. Also, my current happiness was born from a connection that i got to Steve....through him being totally ridiculous...i saw myself in it.

That's really cool!

I have only just realised lately that there is something really cool about actually understanding the role of rediculous laughter in seemingly inappropriate situations... who'd have thought?!

Artificial Stupidity?
Lol...

I actually think I have done things I don't remember anymore.
2 days ago, I was going through my YouTube channel and saw some videos I had uploaded some 2 years back....and I was like...

Did I actually do that?
Lol....

Sometimes, it's fun to just be weirddddd....

Haha, what a fun !Great entertainment.I expect daily you share us this type of funny for enjoy ourself.
Thanks @stellabelle for sharing.

Hahahaha... Maybe she published the post with Stella

Do you think you can publish that story you wrote? I am finding myself buried in way too many things. I think it will be best. I will resteem you on two accounts.

Okay, done. But all the SBD rewards of that post will be given to your latest Slothicorn contest. Instead of only one winner, you can now announce 5 - 10 winners (Depending on the payout). Okay?

OK, if that is your wish, then yes. Thank you

Perfect and what about the art work?

ha ha, yeah, i am just ignoring spam these days

I think our thoughts sync together concerning @hhumaira comments.
I laugh some people's comment without reading a post in Spanish 😂😂😂...

@ghulammujtaba kudos 👏👏👏 for vying against these acts

Wow..
Good job

hello, welcome to the steemit family,
why not try to read the article and contribute to the discussion?
that way, you might get an upvote.

an excellent article!
really amazing. congratulations on that.

Yeah it is very interesting things and now I updated my dictionary with this brand new vocabulary called Artificial Stupidity. The technology are so much rapidly growing that each second there is lunching of the new terms.

No matter the innovations made to create humans in bots, it will never be the same. Our weirdness and craziness can never be recreated.
And our uniqueness is what makes life fun.

thank's for the sharing @stellabelle, i love it

Hey, a great rabbit hole :)

I diagonalread your article. Hopefully will come back later and read it again, slowly.

Do you know what distincts humans from animals? We humans tell stories about ourselves. We also tend to exaggerate and prettify these stories. And we believe our own lies. That's how we are made.

Another distinction, that we share with other apes, is that we try to take benefit of every situation that we are in. We try to change the circumstances to benefit us. We control others to our benefit. Isn't this the gist of our society and civilization?

Why have my ramblings to do with your laugh escapades? I don't know :)

I am just happy that you really know how to laugh and have fun. No matter where no matter when. You stayed your inner child which is an ultimate achievement in this controlled by the logic world.

Congratulations!

And we believe our own lies.

Yeah, thanks for that info! I am thinking heavy on this topic! I'm getting out of my suffering! The human mind feels so weak and vulnerable.....I have been really living, or not living, outside of my mind! It's really disturbing how bad it has gotten. I am trying to make friends again, and now i see how much of live i have missed. Friendships based on authentic truth is essential for life.
yeah, we tend to try to make it all about us...sad isn't!!!

I don't take it as sad. It is a defence mechanism of sorts. It is all about conservation of energy, a basic natural law. Why? It is easier to live in lie than to try and make a difference, to make a change in your life. It is all about stepping out of your comfort zone, no matter how fake and full of lies it is.

You are making friends here. I don't have to tell you the recipe. Here it comes anyways, in case anybody else is reading these ramblings :)

Be yourself!

When you are a fake, then your friends are fake friends too. Look at all these social networks. Need I say more?

This is an interesting post! And that is very true, human beings create imaginations. Thanks for sharing.

Hahahahahaha
This is hillarious

Nothing is impossible in this planet
artificial stupidity wow!

Hehe ....Liked this term Artificial stupidity..
Well some robots are stupid and some are not and also some humans are stupid and some are not..
So quite a mixed phenomenon this is...
Great blog...Thanks

art is an extension of being human, and being aware of our thoughts.

Yes!!! You are right, i don't think any bot or robot can express itself the way i do...
I don't think they can replace my art but my science they can try.

You said all you wanted in life is to study, learn, share and creates. We may not see you learning but we do see you sharing which is very good cos I lean from Post you've made
Thanks a lot

My best comedians on steemit @stellabelle and @stevenalexander

ha ha! Thank you so much! It's what i have wanted, for so long.

M'y son also watch your videos

"For me, life is a stream of curious bread crumbs, which have led me everywhere worth going."

This line is so so beautiful. So many crumbs, so little time!

thanks

It's a yes human being derives their pleasure moment in idiotic, cos if not we wouldn't sit down watching lorn OT go out there watching wrestling and that is life

The question should be; is stupidity real (not artificial)?

And did we even evolve as a species, or do individuals (like Dan as you cited), the select few that escape the norm. Those who allow their creativity to emerge, like artists of all genres, often write about the plight of the reality stupid.

And laughter may just be the pressure release that those with a touch of evolutionary acumen and creativity, cope.

my friend thank you. a perfect post. but we humans are not robots. thought, reason, mind. we have. people can have absurd personal tastes and fantasies. these are the factors that separate human beings in person.

I think it's beyond enjoyment. I mean the only way for humans to access some rewards is through an illogical operation. I cannot label animal instinct as "logic", but animals- other animals for example- act in a caculated way. however when a young mouse decides to play attack an adult mouse that's 10 times bigger than him, you could label it as stupidity or taking extreme risk. but when that older mouse allowes the younger mouse to "defeat" him- they form a bond which strenghtens both - especially empowering the smaller mouse. this was shown in studies. that why intelligent lifeform can evolve, and A.I cannot yet. maybe it's the next step forward.

Nice one here..
Alot of our thoughts are wild..nd unimaginable
But we want things to run around us ,

Magnificent article. I'm even a little tired reading it. It's hard for me to understand you. Affects the language barrier. But I'm sure that you will definitely find your destiny in life. Good luck to you.

Великолепная статья. Я даже немного устал, читая ее. Мне до конца сложно Вас понять. Сказывается языковой барьер. Но я уверен, что вы обязательно найдете свое предназначения в жизни. Удачи Вам.

Hey Stella!!! What's the first photo?!?! There is only Steemitri, haha!
... I don't know how I should feel in these days doing these crazy things with a mannequin... kind of weird, strange or stupid?!?
Who knows... but I feel so happy, creative and sometimes I can't stop laughing doing all these "Steemitris-Things", haha!
Biiiiig "plastic" hug
Lucas & Steemitri The Mannequin

When I saw the title I was wondering what this post was about, I thought I was going to learn something super revolutionary, but suddenly I'm laughing so much that even my mother asked me what was I laughing at... ahhahaa

Great point presented and super funny :D

Artificial stupidity..... Lol... Sounds funny jst saying it

Laughter is man's response to being uncomfortable, discomfort causes us to bear our teeth and signal to the others that something is amiss.

We are chained to our sensations, as I think we are hard-wired to have a life filled with sensual experiences because it gives very pleasurable things to our brains.

Every time you hit the "post" button you get a tiny hit of dopamine. That's why this social media thing is so popular.

Wait a minute, they didn't have a card for that?

will definitely check out @steveandstellas

Those Hallmark peeps are definitely an odd bunch. Quick funny Hallmark story: My brotherinlaw was interviewing there for a marketing job (like in the 80s) and

the interviewer asked ,"If you had a sky-writer plane and could write anything you wanted in the sky, what would it be?"

bro-in-law immediately answers, "Surrender Dorothy"

how funny is that!!! thankfully, and not surprisingly, he didn't get the job.

I only have one thing to say :

Humor is the best medicine.

I feel like we are being programmed by the media to think that everyone else is stupid and we are superior because we would never do what they are doing. (Reality shows come to mind.)

I remember waking up from the crazy, drunken antics the night before when I celebrated my 21st birthday. That evening/morning ended with my best friend, Trish, and I dancing with wild abandon. Trish could always make me laugh. Great memories, indeed.

Keep on laughing @stellabelle! The world needs it! God bless!

Cant wait for your next post .nice one

This really resonates with me. Light-heartedness is seriously important. Seriously.

I bust out laughing at inappropriate times too. Owning the weirdness is vital for us all. We’re all mad here.

Great use of “asinine”. My grandma used to say it when she was mad at me, and it was the closest she ever got to cursing, so it tickles me even to this day.

Good thing you found steven, you 2 make a great team, i hadn't seen that supermarket video ahahah, that's steven he makes the most random weirdest most awesome stuff
I've never heard about that artificial stupidity concept, need to do my research on that one, and it's true we are advancing to a world where the robots can do everything for us, the only thing they might not be able to do for a while is creative stuff like videos, songs, drawings, etc...

While i haven't heard about artificial stupidity before, yet i loved watching your vid .. crazy stellzzz hehehe
Do you know of this funny youtube girl "Liza Koshy"? If not you should check her out .. love every one of her vids!

no, but i guess i need to check her out. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the shout out! :)

I have seen many of your videos and I figured you would enjoy Steven's work. I'm glad to see your collab, obviously fun for you to make and spirit lifting for us viewers. :D

I had not seen your video from college but it makes sense that you've always had the same awesome style. Thanks for sharing that here.

I also had not seen Steven as Daisy but I'm glad you put it here for us to enjoy. It reminded me of Monty Python a bit, in their sketches when they dressed as women.

Looking forward to more fun from you and Steven!

Thanks so much Kenny. You alone have created so much value for us creators.....and I believe we need more people like you on here! It's so cool how you help all of us.

Hey @stellabelle , I just found your guide to create my own upvote bot. Because i wanted to start a new project on creating a new upvote specially for the minnows. Free to use to boost their spirits. I wanted to thank you for creating this. Also i wanted to contact you somewhere maybe discord(Bartcardi on discord), but didn't knew how or where. So if you have time i would love some help with it! #Bartcardi

I laughed so hard. TY! I remember laughing like that at my great grandmothers funeral. Like an idiot, I stayed for the whole damn thing, hoping no one noticed. I was about 9 years old at the time. Not sure what it was that set me off, but God was that good laugh at the time.

Nice piece... I like the fact that you support works of art as much as u do. I hope to one day come up with something that will impress u that much.

It's so great to be able to find that someone who is like a 'creative soulmate'! This post has certainly introduced me to some very interesting ideas that I have to chew over a little bit so thank you!

I archive a lot of the work that I have done in the past and so every time I go back I find and remember things that I worked on and forgot. Your experience at Hallmark was something that reminded me of a number of projects I worked on and subsequently forgot (or suppressed in my memory, whatever the difference is).

Lastly, just wondering if you think what you said about art (that is an extension of being human and having human thoughts) also applies to science? If so what are the fundamental difference between the two? This is a question that I am still pondering but thought you might have some insight into :)

i do think there are more visual and sensory thinkers, ie, artists, and then more linear thinkers like scientists who are not moved by shapes, colors and sensory things quite as much. However, i feel that the greatest scientists had both parts of them developed, and scientists who are also creative thinkers are the ones who make the breakthroughs: "Imagination is more important than knowledge" this holds true...

One might argue that imagination needs to be fuelled by knowledge, as some of the most imaginative thinkers (artists or scientists) are also those who are most knowledgeable in their respective fields. I would like to think that on Steemit we foster the development of both arts and the sciences equally, or simply don't make a distinction between the two for the sake of convention.

ah, check out @steveandstellas for more craziness.....we just released 2 shows, different edits...you can see into our minds....

Hmmm! This is but a deep breath of relief from my inside. I must say that i am hearing this word for the very first time. And from all that you have dropped in your lines it very obvious that you passed a high level of valuable informative piece.

Sometimes what we do displays this subject matter but thanks to the steemit Queen for this enlightenment.

You are well read i must say and your value increase daily. Each time i come here i discover new stuff. Permit me to say that i am going to make further research on this to enlarge my horizon.

Thanks alot once more.
I am me @brightfame

Going reading your creative post, let my imagination fly and laughed, what a pleasure to meet spontaneous and sincere people who write what they feel and laugh like me about the silly things in life, to live with emotion we must learn to be ourselves and understand that we all have a wonderful gift that we must find inside us, to show the world how well you indicate that we are artists. Let's all fly, thanks for the special words.

That was a pretty fun trip. First, I have never heard of artificial stupidity until now, so I learned something. But your analysis was a fun trip through the inane. But serious, too. Thanks for the infotainment.

I had a moment at university that I am reminded of by your cruise ship story.
My best friend was an international student from Japan. He is a gorgeous man, was a model at the time actually, but we were studying nursing.
I was doing my best to learn Japanese and had an essential Japanese slang book with me in a lecture. It was a tense room, I distinctly remember the discussion was on bereavement and grief.
I was flipping through my book and came across a word with a description and also had specific instructions for a gesture.
I cupped my hand and put it to his face and whispered a word. Nigirippe.
He lost it. The entire lecture hall was looking at us, they were in the middle of sharing stories of loss and were highly offended by our disrespect. It just made it worse and we escalated until we were asked to leave.
Nigirippe - I don't know much Japanese but I will never forget that word. It means making a cup with your hand and catching a fart and quickly putting it in someone's face.
Disgraceful... Best college memory.
For the record I didn't actually do the deed.
