This is good. Making a few more pictures everyday. It is good therapy. Feel especially good when I make some good eye candy.
I take allot of pictures that are already out there and just alter them and collage them. I think it makes a good cultural statement if pictures and themes are altered and juxtaposed well
There was a video I found that made me feel better about a musician friend I knew from long ago who past away in the last year. He was bad into drugs and drinking. He used needles and all that. Not trying to put him down. He was a nice guy. I don't view him as the addict. I only know him as his sober true self ya know. Also I had a young neighbor who later on got methed out. Makes me real sad. I don't like the party scene where people act like its cool to go on a self indulgent suicide trip. They cheer each other on, yet theres nothing to impress. It's sickening
The video I found is called Filling Their Graves by Leaether Strip. Helps get though the angst of that dark scene. Many are going out without a sound or just a wimper. I say go out like a bang like the song lyric. Makes me think getting yourself to behave and others to behave is crowd control
I have also been listening to more Kittie. Their old numetal song Brackish. It is giving me that super energy I needed to feel. Keep listening to the song! I don't like all their tunes but they have a few kick ass ones. I'm remembering all that youthful energy I have. I'm feeling all this heavy metal female energy and I'm alive! I got to play guitar, sing my ass off and make strange soundtracks. It's my job! My new job!! Looking forward to producing and sharing it here too! The work will be worth it once I get on stage and throw my first few shows. Playing live is a great rush. Having a message to deliver is an enlivening experience!! Yes!
