Do you love arts?
I am always fascinated with all those great artists and painters with their works hanging in museums.. I hoped that someday I could make one art myself. I had no intention to visit a painting course because I was working at that time. And so, to make the story short, I bought reading materials, broschures and books that would teach me what and which brushes and strokes to use as well as how to mix oil paints. Not having a formal education in this area, I just followed my instincts.
After gathering all materials needed I was so excited to paint these orchids. Although this is a naive painting, it is an important milestone for me to be able to understand how this kind of arts work. I watched Bob Ross´s painting series on tv and even painted one later on using his wet on wet technique. Time passed by, I managed to paint more and my techniques improved.
This very first oil is now hanging in the bedroom of our 2nd home in Andalucia in Southern Spain . When I decorated that room, my color scheme evolved around it.

Well, it´s just a naive painting. Nothing more nothing less....but, it sure did change my perception of arts!
