Artstyleart6 contest. Cubism and Architecture. Oil on canvas Title "Twin Towers"

in artstyleart6 •  7 years ago  (edited)

I wanted to enter this contest.
What to enter?
Something different.

I thought about a cubist representation of a Teepee.

But, the thought of I want the painting to have more universal significance . . . kept gnawing at me.

So here it is. I hope you enjoy the painting.

This is very good painting and wisely chosen to step in the contest!

Thank you @hebro, I wasn't sure if I would finish this one in time to submit it.
The deadline for completion has compelled me to spend time painting instead of just surfing Steem.it.

Nice done! Great art @randolphrope

Thank you for your comment, @errymil.
It's very much appreciated.

I like your painting very nice work

Thank you for your reply @nomi2233, this is a great contest. Often times artists do the work only to leave it in a room piled with other unseen work.

Great artwork!

Good luck in the contest!

Thank you, so much @allfabeta.
I'm sorry for the late reply, my "replies" notification doesn't seem to work.

Thank you for your reply @nomi2233. I plan on a large scale painting of this one.

I love your photography
& Highly Appreciated your skills
Nice click

That painting is way too abstract for me to understand it but in a weird way I like it. :D

This will help. In the middle of the painting, there is an outline of a blue plane flying at the building. When you see that, you will see the entire painting.

Now I see. Thank you for that :D

Just fantastic! Congratulations!

Thank you Aksinya, I'm glad that I was able to paint an entry this week.

is it oil?

Yes, they are oils. Light washes.
I only had 24 hours to do the painting. So the oils dried over night quickly, and allowed for a heavier mix the next day.

thank you))
