The above sketches were always thought to be from the imagination of Leonardo DaVinci. Everyone believed that the sketches were simply predictions of what the inside of a human body would look like. They believed this because when the sketches were being drawn it was illegal to open a human body upon death and surgeries were not performed. Years after Leonardo Davinci's death we realize that he must have somehow been dissecting humans or using other means to research the inner workings of the human body. The accuracy of his drawings is no coincidence. Was he killing people and dissecting them? Perhaps we will never know.
