Hi Steemit friend’s, Today I begin my day with a heavy heart. News no one wishes to hear—your friend was found dead this morning.

My comfort is that no matter how weird people may have found her to be, she was a rebel in a positive way. She kept searching for the acceptable way, not the trending way, of serving God, of directing herself to him and to honor him. She went against the current tide and she won! She won by remaining faithful until the end. That is exactly what Yahweh (YHWH), as she preferred to call Almighty God, has requested each and every human to live their lives.

Though my heart is heavy right now, my comfort is in God’s promise of an everlasting life. I will someday see her again, vibrant and happy. No more pain for her, nor more suffering. It shall be in God’s perfect time. God never lies, I hold dearly today in His comfort.

Why

We have yet to know what she died of, she was relatively young all we knew she was not feeling well and she was getting tests done. Why she died we might never fully know. The medical community in Puerto Rico is super weak, more so now, after Hurricane Maria many physicians left to the mainland. Neglect even in the emergency rooms is common as I have witnessed during and after the hurricane. Staff is ill prepared and most doctors and staff in clinics seem indifferent. Sadly, it is just a job not a humanely thing to truly care. It’s all just a business the perk —status.
