"RAINBOW DELIGHT"

in artzone •  6 years ago

After looking at my last post, I thought to myself, I can go further with this experimental style. I don't claim to be a founder of it or anything. I've simply just stumbled upon a way of making certain types of photos look certain ways. I did not look for styles to imitate or be inspired by for these. However, If it looks like a style you recognize, I'd be really happy to check the artist out if you could link me to them in the comments.

Onward and upward.

I really enjoyed the natural back bend she put into this stance. To me, it felt like her soul was being torn out through her chest by an alien technology of sorts.

Just a colorful portrait here.

This shot is more of a Fashion-type model shot. At first I thought I messed up by adding too many things. Almost like they were conflicting with each other. But after staring and editing for hours on end, it feels like the clashing conflictions blend nicely.

Hope you've enjoyed what you've seen. Tell me what you think. Should I make more portraits in this style?

Wow! Very graphically intriguing treatments.

I found your post in self-promotions on the @curie Discord chat.

Woah dude I really love these! The rainbow colors are great, ties these together even though each of these photos is very different from the others. Top one is intense, agreed about alien soul extraction through the chest cavity, seems like what is going on there. Middle one is such an interesting mix with the almost hyper-natural skin tone of the top half of her face and the more subtle rainbow bars and negative face - this seems to be from the future? Bottom one seems more retro, a little more rough around the edges but with lots of fighting spirit :) Much love - Carl

Very true what he says, this original art can not be achieved elsewhere, I loved how he uses digital tools to bring your work to life.
