Hello fellow Christians, this is my entry into today’s “ Day 12 - Ashart Contest - Theme : Our Lord Is Faithful He will strengthen and protect us from evil!”
First of all, I’d like to thank @ashley4u, for providing this amazing opportunity to talk about God’s incredible love and grace, I am so blessed. And thank all of you who support Ashley as she grows in Christ, and becomes this wonderful women, who is so devoted to serve the Lord, with such love in her heart, to please God. It’s been an amazing blessing to witness her transformation, into becoming this faithful servant of God. I’d also like to thank all who support my efforts as well, may God bless you all❣️When I have found myself in times of trouble, for the lack to find the forgiveness in my own heart, to pray for those who persecute me, or hurt me, even though they claim themselves to be followers of Christ, which made me angry even more so. Just holding on to that anger and resentment, to want to resist to love them in the way that God calls us to love them who persecute us. Which is, to pray to God, that the ones who hurt us, would come to love, know, and accept Jesus Christ, as there personal Savior. To pray that they would want to seek God, to understand what He wants of all of us, to follow Jesus as our beloved role model, who understood perfectly, how to love perfectly, and to want and be able to have, this kind of beautiful relationship with my creator, my Father, that I am so thankful to have. If I felt like I couldn’t let go the frustration and anger, I would get down on my knees, in repentance of my own evilness, asking God to help take away the pain and ugliness within my heart and soul. And I would begin to pray, the prayer that Jesus taught at the “sermon on the mount” to the masses “ The Model Prayer”, and this is what He said...

“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray;
Our Father in heaven,
Hollowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and
the glory forever. Amen

Jesus laid down His life for us, so that we could be forgiven of our sins. And Our Father, allowed it, He knew the future for all of us who truly follow, and love the Lord. God is so merciful and GOOD ❣️Love you Dad...
