BECOMING HUMBLE AND STAYING THAT WAY
Becoming humble, and staying that way has been very hard for me. I continually pray each and every day, to God, to help me see my faults, to show me how to overcome them, and to help me to not be boastful. God has shown me what vanity is, and that I have had vanity in me, ego, unholy pride, and unholy thoughts, that I wasn’t really aware of. It became crystal clear, through the awakening and relationship with God, that I wasn’t the really good person that I thought I was. He showed me that I needed to take a good hard look at myself in the mirror, to see my unholiness, to recognize the unholy person that I had become. I have repented for many things, and God has forgiven me, God knows that I live in a fallen world, and has told me through the Bible that none of us are perfect on this planet, but we can strive to become a better human being each and every day. We all need to have a beautiful relationship with God. We need to look at Jesus as a roll model of what a perfect person acts like. Reading, or listening to audiobooks of the Holy Bible, God’s word, is the only place to truly understand who Jesus Christ was, and is today. How can you follow someone who shows you what perfection looks like, if you don’t seek Him, and understand Him. There’s a lot to being humble, God must humble you first. It is a start to becoming a new creation, a new you, filled with love, joy, forgiveness, patience, humility, comfort, meekness, and peacefulness, no matter what the circumstance. May God bless your soul, like He’s blessed mine❣️
But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. Psa 37: 11
