Today's song of the day is dark themed. The music is dark, and the lyrics are, well, it depends on how you look at it. It's been a very gloomy day today, and this is a very suitable song for such a day.

The song is called I Will Possess Your Heart and it's by an American band called Death Cab for Cutie. It's a song about this guy who's in a one-sided relationship and wishes that the girl he's in love would give him a chance and spend some time with him.

I love this song for the music though, as the lyrics can be interpreted differently. Some say it's a Stalker song, and others say that it's just a love song. It's however you look at it. Do give it a listen, specially to the longer version, I'm sure you'll like it better than the short version.

The above is the Radio version, but I personally love the Album version which is about 9 minutes in length and has a very long instrumental intro. The Bass guitar rhythm in the beginning and the drum beats are just amazing. You can listen to the longer version below.
