This long piece of writing that has encompasses our ideas and understanding has two important parts. Let us discuss these two important aspects in a bit of detail -

Introduction
To begin with, the essay, you need to write an introduction. This should tell the reader what all he/she can expect out of the essay. Mostly the introduction is one or two paragraphs long.

• Your introduction should begin with a hookup statement. This statement can be anything from a question that you want to put forward, an anecdote, some statistical data, or a misconception that follows the topic. This will bind the reader to further read the essay.

• Then follow the hook statement by focusing on the topic and letting the reader connect with it. Tell the reader what all details or answers to what questions they should expect in the essay.

• End the introduction by stating your essay topic or the general view that you will adhere to while writing the essay. It should be clear and precise.

Conclusion
Now at the end of the essay, we have the conclusion which is written with the purpose to sum up the essay. It is written to summarize the main points and highlight what all the reader has taken from the essay.
• Begin the conclusion by rephrasing the topic of the essay. Highlight what the topic that has been talked about in the entire essay was.

• Then summarize all the arguments that you have put forward in the main body of the essay and why you have done so.

• The conclusion should end by focusing on what the reader can do with the information provided in the essay or how is it helpful to one. It should highlight why the topic was worth discussing.
