What to expect between now and late April

Your mental attitudes and intellectual interests ---> These are super-energized this month, but with Mercury retrograde (as of the 22nd), there's an irony as well. Your mind is ambitious, assertive and full of new plans. But you're also having to retrench, take previously unknown factors into consideration, correct some mis-information and misunderstandings ... and get yourself realigned and back on track again.

This is happening in the Aries sector of your life / Natal Chart. So, have a look -- 5° - 17° of Aries. Where are you gaining a new perspective ... and coming to understand things differently?

Sharing what you know ... and what you learn ... even if that is changing day-to-day is an effective way of understanding life. (Because life, too, is changing ... constantly.) So, having other people as "sounding boards" is important this month. So are "intellectual partnerships" -- people able to fertilize your mind and contribute well to the ongoing conversation. Fortunately, of course, everyone is looking for this ... so suitable companions won't be hard to find.

The people in your life

Your allies, partners and colleagues ---> These people have a lot of influence in your life this month. You may be actively involved with relationships that exist ... and actively looking for new connections, too. Different ideas -- especially ones you can blend with your own -- have a lot of appeal. So do ambitious partners -- people who are ready and able to join you in forming helpful coalitions.

You want partners who tell the truth, who are candid and open, who mean what they say and who will follow through on their commitments. You are more than willing to do the same. People you can't count on in this way could well become casualities of "life." If someone can't be on your side 100%, you may decide you don't need him at all.

Money, money, money

Your income, supply sources, spending priorities, resource management and ways of using all "things of value" ---> The strategies you use to supply yourself with life's goodness and maintain the comforts that make it meaningful are all part of the coming revision. You'll make different financial choices in late April -- which covers a lot of ground.

You may build or discover new income sources. You'll look for ways to increase what you have -- and find more joy in "getting it." You'll refocus the kinds of possessions you want -- and the things you want to support with your share of treasure. You'll release some old priorities -- and take up new ones. You'll invest yourself and your assets differently -- for both more profit and more pleasure.

What's Important?

Your values -- your conclusions about what's important to you ---> This is actually at the crux of what I just described. It represents a deeper revision of you -- your self-image and self-worth -- your intentions and desires. Basically what you want and what you're ready to work for has changed -- perhaps dramatically -- in the last two years.

You have a much different set of priorities now ... and you'll use the coming months to both embrace and clarify this. You may even revise your physical appearance ... the way you look, the way you dress, the way you present yourself -- to reflect the new you that has arrived. All kinds of "presentation issues" are highlighted now.

What to do?

Your actions, ambitions and energy investments ---> This is a month of really consolidating your power to push hard on projects that mean a lot to you. It's been more than two years since your ambitions were this solid ... and focused. You are ready to make some things happen ... and as April arrives, you'll get this part of life's agenda underway.

Mars conjunct Saturn in Saturn's own sign of Capricorn is one of the most determined and persistent combinations in the Zodiac, and THAT hasn't happened since early 1990. (If you can remember back that far, you'll find a time of amazing developments and change.)

Where is 9° Capricorn in your Natal Chart? What life area does that house rule? That's where this is going to happen for you -- very likely bringing changes to your public / professional life and your decisions about what to do with yourself from here. Those are weighty questions. Especially since they don't come around all that often -- and certainly not to this extent.

Investing yourself ... differently

Your efforts at expansion, acquiring abundance and boosting your education ---> The last thing to consider for now ... and the last significant sky-change ... is Jupiter's recent retrograde change in Scorpio. It will be moving back and forth between 13° Scorpio and 23° Scorpio between now and mid-October. So where is that slice of the sky in your Natal Chart?

Jupiter in Scorpio deals with revised investments, profitable partnerships and new decisions about how to use communal assets. It often involves closing out things that have served their purpose ... or "run their course." That leaves resources and energy to dedicate elsewhere ... and as Jupiter retrogrades, choices on that subject present themselves. The house which holds retrograde Jupiter, of course, shows where that will call for attention -- so get a head start and consider it now.

You may be more than ready to make some improvements ... and for once, Life is on track for that, too. Do your part. Do your homework. And when the invitations (and breaks and opportunities) arrive, say Yes!!

Meanwhile, if you've never seen your horoscope ... and don't have a clue how to work with it, maybe it's time to find out. There are lots of "chart services" on the internet -- some of whom produce decent, readable charts "for free" and some are so awful and confusing that even I can't read them easily -- and I've worked with charts for decades.

One extremely user-friendly chart site is here: AstroLabe. I recommend them if you want a simple, easy-to-read chart. I think they even give a reasonable little interpretive reading of your horoscope as part of the package. You'll need to know your birth information -- day, month, year, time and geographical place. Without all that your chart will have limited accuracy.

Although sometimes the background pictures in our visual essays support the topic and text, they don't always. Sometimes the connection is clear. Sometimes it's symbolic and subtle. Sometimes, there's no connection at all.

The scenes depict landscapes and natural features, buildings and wildlife. They were chosen because they show something lovely or interesting ... or simply because the photo appealed to me.

Our spectacular and remarkable planet is changing at astonishing speed. Rarely are these changes for the better. Few people seem to know ... or care ... or have the will and power to do anything about this. It may not be long before the world humans have known and lived in for centuries is forever lost. We certainly won't be able to make repairs as fast as we destroyed it.

So a few years ago I began collecting pictures of the way things were ... and still are for now, a record of the beauty we have while it is still ours to love and honor.
