After having looked further into the alignment, there seem to be many of those:

What this proves to me is that they all followed the ecliptic during certain days in a season like the winter solstice. The ecliptic could be as close as 5.25 degrees from this 'ancient equator', there are many lines to draw from the countless of structures. Regardless it is interesting that they all follow the sine wave pattern.
