Hi to all, for fans to watch the sky at night and paint You astronomical events for the month of August. So take up the telescope, aim at the sky and enjoy.

1 August and the entire month - there's still a probability of appearance of noctilucent clouds in the twilight sky in the middle latitudes,
August 2 - new moon,
August 3 - covering the Moon of the planet mercury with visibility in South America,
August 5, Venus passes a degree North of Regulus,
August 6 - cover by the Moon of the planet Jupiter in daylight visibility in Indonesia and Australia
August 10 - Moon phase first quarter,
August 12 - the maximum of the meteor shower the Perseids with hourly number of meteors to 150 (possibly up to 500!!),
August 13 - Saturn in standing with the transition from retrograde motion to direct,
August 16 - long-period variable star R Dragon near maximum light (6,5 m),
August 16 - mercury reaches Eastern (evening) elongation 27 degrees,
August 17 - meteor shower Kappa Ziggidy the constellation of the Swan reaches the maximum of action (3 of meteors per hour)
18 August - full moon
August 18 - penumbral lunar Eclipse,
August 18 - long-period variable star V Unicorn near maximum light (6m),
August 19 - cover by the Moon of the planet Neptune in visibility in the far East and North America
August 22 - mercury passes 4 degrees South of Jupiter
August 24 - Mars is 4 degrees South of Saturn in 2 degrees North of Antares,
August 24 - long-period variable star S of the Northern Crown near maximum light (6m),
August 25 - Moon phase last quarter,
From 25 August to cover the Moon, the star Aldebaran of the constellation Taurus when the visibility in North America and Oceania,
August 27 - the convergence of Venus and Jupiter up to 4 angular minutes,
August 29 - mercury passes 5 degrees South of Venus
30 August - mercury is in standing with the transition from direct motion to retrograde,
31 August meteor shower of Aurigid from the constellation of Auriga achieves the maximum of (6 meteors per hour).
