Azimuth

In astronomy, the azimuth of a celestial object is the angle between the horizontal vector of the position of the object and the reference vector (horizontal) pointing north. For example, if we look towards the north and the object is located at any point between the horizon and the zenith, its azimuth is 0°. If we do the same looking east, the azimuth is 90°. If we look south it would be 180° and west 270°.
