Ladies and gentlemen. This is happening in the world of new graphics cards.
NVIDIA introduced the Quadro GV100 at the GPU Technology Conference.
"Quadro® is the world's best graphics processing computing platform for a wide range of applications."
What does the GV100 mean?
5120 CUDA cores.
128 render units (ROP).
320 texturing units (TMU)
640 Tensor cores
32 GB of HBM2 memory with a 4096-bit bus. The total bandwidth is up to 900GB / s.
21 billion transistors.
Core 1370 MHz (Boost 1450 MHz)
879 MHz HBM2 memory (effectively 1758 MHz).
4x DisplayPort 1.4.
Support for Shader Model 5.1, OpenGL 4.5, Vulkan 1.0, DirectX 12.
And all this in a streamlined process 16 nm FinFET (12 nm FFN) and TDP is 300W.
The computing power is 14.8 TFLOPS single precision and double 7.4 TFLOPS.
It should also be taken into account that the power of the Tensor Core is GIGANTIC 118.5 TFLOPS.
GV100 has not been castrated with NVLink as opposed to Titan V and you can combine cards.
Of course, Nvidia RTX technology could not be missing on board
Unfortunately I will not run to the store because the card costs $9000 and so far I can't afford it, but I'm looking forward to rendering tests in 3DS Max and can buy it one day :)
Now just wait for the Volta presentation for players.
